Knitting kit for Ellen Sweater in Önling No 20 + Silk mohair
Ellens sweater is reversible and here we work it in Önling No 20, 100 % Shetlandsuld together with a strand of Önling No 10 (silk mohair), to give you a warm and soft sweater with a light feel.
The design is inspired by cosy weekends at the sea cottage and the sweater encapsulates both comfort and style. Imagine wrapping yourself up in this warm cosy piece in a slightly oversized design with classic sleeves and an elegant neckline. The wide raglan details and delicate seed stitch pattern add a sophisticated texture. The design is intended for 5-10 cm in positive ease. Sleeve and edge details can be adjusted to suit you.
The kit contains: Yarn for the selected size and a digital pattern
The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. Procedure: The sweater is knit in the round, top down. It starts with a provisional cast-on to adjust the size of the neckline afterward. Short rows are worked across the shoulders and back at the beginning to create a higher back neck.
The yoke is worked with raglan increases. Then, the work is divided, and sleeves and body are worked separately. The sleeves are worked in the round. After trying on the sweater, the provisional cast-on is unraveled, and the edges are finished with i-cord or ribbing.
Please Note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
