Knitting kit for Felicity Blouse multi color with long sleeves in Önling No 4 + silk mohair

The Felicity Blouse with long sleeves is a versatile and creative knitting project, worked with one strand of (organic merino wool) and two strands of (silk mohair). It’s the perfect stash-busting project, allowing you to use all your silk mohair and wool leftovers while truly painting with yarn. With the three strands, you can create fades, stripes, solid designs, magic balls from scraps, or anything your creativity and imagination inspire.

The blouse has a short length and an oversized fit with 20-30 cm / 8-12 inches of positive ease, making it both super comfortable and stylish. The sleeves can be customized to your preference—short, ¾ length, or full length—so you can create exactly the blouse that suits you and your style. Here, we knit the sweater with long sleeves.

Suggested Needles
Circular needles size 5 mm (US 8), 6 mm (US 10), and 7 mm (US 10.75), 60 cm / 24 in or 80 cm / 32 in length.

Gauge
15 sts and 24 rows in stockinette stitch on needle size 5 mm (US 8) = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in
14 sts and 22 rows in stockinette stitch on needle size 6 mm (US 10) = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in
13 sts and 20 rows in stockinette stitch on needle size 7 mm (US 10.75) = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in

Procedure
The blouse is knitted in the round from the top down. The neckline is cast on using an Italian cast-on, followed by the establishment of the rib pattern. Short rows are worked back and forth over the neck, sleeves, and front piece to create a higher neckline, ensuring a better fit. Increases are worked at the raglan lines throughout the yoke, and the needle size is gradually increased along the way to enhance both fit and visual effect. The body and sleeves are separated and completed individually, with the sleeves knitted to the desired length. Both the body and sleeves are bound off using an Italian bind-off.

Please note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
