Get your yarn kit the lovely Super Selene Sweater (short version) - a classic and soft beauty from Anne Ventzel with an iconic icelandic-inspired pattern on the yoke. The sweater is more oversized than Selene Sweater and slightly more loosely knitted.

Here we work Super Selene sweater in Önling No 1 (merino/angora) held together with a strand of Önling No 10, silk mohair for a beautiful, harmonic and soft result.

There is 29 cm / approximately 11 inches of positive ease in the designer's SUPER SELENE.

Materials:
300 (350) 350 (350) 400 g , 100% Shetland wool, 50 g = approximately 247 yards (225 meters)
Held together with
175 (175) 175 (200) 200 g , 70% Mohair, 30% Silk, 25 g = approximately 230 yards (210 meters).

You work with 1 strand of Önling No 1 and 1 strand of Önling No 10 held together throughout

Needles:
5 mm (US 8) and 5,5 (US 9) mm circular needles, 40, 60, 80 and 100/120 cm / approximately 15, 23, 31 and 39/47 inches
Optional: a 5 mm (US 8) straight needle for the Italian cast on

Gauge:
18 sts x 27 rows in stockinette stitch worked in one color on a 5 mm (US 8) needle = 10 x 10 cm / 3.9 x 3.9 inches
18 sts x 22 rows in stranded pattern on a 5.5 mm (US 9) needle = 10 x 10 cm / 3.9 x 3.9 inches

Knitting process:
First, stitches are cast on for the neck opening using the Italian cast on technique, and the neck edge is worked in a twisted rib. Then, the yoke is worked in the stranded pattern. Before the work is divided into sleeves and body, short rows are worked across the back of the yoke to create roominess and a good fit.
